Saving for my first house

I am currently saving for my first house, with my partner, hopefully by around this September next year. I have a LISA open and have now maxed it out for the year. I want to carry on saving but want to kow what would be the best savings account to save into. I currently have a normal savings account open that I'm putting the money into but want to know if this is the best way? TIA

As you may need the money in around 12 months time, your only sensible option is a savings account that you can easily access.
This is worth a read.
