PROTECTION AGAINST CONCRETE POST

Have a look at the OP's posting history and I think this issue has been from last year.QrizB said:geek84 said:Hi Folks
My neighbour has some concrete posts on his front garden.
Can someone kindly advice how I can protect my car when reversing out from my drive?Trying to be a bit more constructive here
Are the posts newly installed, so you're still getting used to them?Or have you moved house, and so your driveway is new to you?The posts should be high enough that you can see them in your door mirrors, and (depending on the spec of your car) you ultrasonic sensors / reversing camera will also detect them.Have you already hit the posts or are you trying to pre-empt any collision?
Also the OP seems to start threads but doesn't seem to return to them that often but that maybe because they don't like what people have written.
A wider photo of the whole driveway may give forum users a better understanding of the OP's situation maybe.1 -
This isn't the OPs first vehicle manoeuvreing related thread either

I wonder if some refresher lessons focused on manoeuvres might be a good idea?2 -
I don't care for all these modern car gadgets - I was reversing a hire car & it insisted on showing me a so-called comedy video (I believe they are called a "tick-tock"?) of someone being run over. Personally I don't find that sort of thing amusingflaneurs_lobster said:My car goes beep... beep... BEEPBEEPBEEP just before I hit something.
Useful because it lets you brace for collision.5 -
Driving lessons are quite expensive if you look them up, but I suppose would increase the social circle as well as helping with the turning circle.Emmia said:This isn't the OPs first vehicle manoeuvreing related thread either

Useful because it lets you brace for collision....and distracting as well. Was there a warning that the following content might be distressing? If not, a letter of complaint and/or claim for the distress caused might be in order.

Use your side mirrors. That's what they are there for.1
