This helps me park tight to the kerb and I haven't yet caught the alloy on anything.
Or be like many irritating motorists near me that park with 2 wheels on the pavement to avoid scuffing their precious alloys… no consideration for pedestrians. 😡

    Hi Folks

Can someone kindly suggest any type of car markers that I can put on my car, which will help me park close enough to both the left and right hand side curbs?...
As others have said, simply adjust both your wingmirrors downwards so you can see how close you are to the kerb you are parking next to.  If parking on the right hand side I always open the driver door (when stationary) to check how close I am.

I can't imagine how such a device - if it existed - would work.

TBH I'm not sure that you sound as if you should be driving if you can't judge the width of your car against oncoming traffic.  As others have said, if in doubt - STOP AND WAIT!

Our Honda HR-V inside mirror automatically moves to show the kerb when reverse parking, a useful drivers aid..

My fix for this problem is to never, ever park next to a curb and run the risk of scrapping my expensive alloy wheels.  Additionally if a gap looks to narrow, I'll turn the car round and find another route.

My fix is to buy and repair a Cat N or S and run it until the scrappy arrives to take it away.

Kerbs, not curbs. Much like cars have brakes not breaks to stop. Anyway.

Mirrors, practise and experience, and actively working it out - look at the line of the kerb (L or R) and relate that to the line of your car's flank. Start by being overly cautious then see how close you can get without feeling that you're getting too close for your own comfort.

Advice used to be that to understand the width of your vehicle you'd put two bean poles in two plant pant pots and practise driving between them, gradually moving them closer together. That way you don't cause holdups while you sit waiting for a large enough gap with people behind muttering that 'you could drive a bloody bus through there'.

No, it's curbs not kerbs because that is specifically what the OP asked.

Perhaps OP would be best looking for a car that has 360 camera's.

Driving daughters today & got a bit too close the the shrubbery & camera came on to show the grass hitting side of car 😶‍🌫️🤣
