I thought the same thing. I almost expected that post to be deleted for criticising MSM with nothing to back up the statement.MyRealNameToo said:
Also seems odd to say it on a MSM owned website.luci said:
Why do you suggest not using Money Supermarket? I've only recently been using them after using Confused.com since they were the only mainstream comparison site available. Thanks.ThorOdinson said:It you didn't immediately think of going somewhere else, then using a comparison site (not money super market)
Any reason you are discrediting Compare The Market and Go Compare?
I'm not sure if your second paragraph is directed at me or @ThorOdinson. Can you clarify?0 -
The one positive of this site is that they take criticism of the site and its parent company perfectly well. Dont even have issues with people pointing out the tens of millions of profit they're making from their articles etc - its public record since they converted it back to a limited company after its brief stint as an unlimited company when its former owner seemed to get embarrassed about the wealth generation.luci said:

Was surprised when they didnt jump in on a recent comment about Quidco and the speculation it had gone bust given its a sister company but there you go.
Talking about the mods is a different matter.0 -
I was actually agreeing with you. When I said, "I almost expected that post to be deleted", it was tongue in cheek, but I should have added an emoji.MyRealNameToo said:

I was more interested in the reason for the comment, "using a comparison site (not money super market)"0
