  • Does anyone know if it is possible to sell sun holiday I have recd to someone else, possibly ebay. We are thinking of going to different location than allocated and as further away will probably want to stay a week so won't be using sun hols.

    Hello

I have just sent in my Sun £19.50 european holiday choices and am very excited.
I realise though that I may not be succesful as saturday was the first opportunity to send in the tokens and I have left it till today. That aside do people think that I have a decent chance as I have sent in many dates and places. Also how long do people think it will be before I should know?

    Thanks, Arthur.
I would say you have a pretty good chance, they aren't as popular as uk ones because of the cost of travel. I imagine the further away the site you have chosen the more likely you are to get it. HTH
  • Unfortunately we chose the fairly near ones despite the risks because we really couldn't stomach the long drives with two fidgety girls in the back. thanks.
    Loving the dtd thread. x
  • Could you imagine it, stuck for a week in Butlins Skegness half filled with Sun readers, half filled with Money Saving 'Experts'.

"Oooo, I saved 3p on a tin of beans....we should bomb Iran...bring back 'anging...."

    Makes Guantanemo Bay sound attractive.
  • I know the cut off date is the 28th Feb but I've still not heard anything or had my cheque cashed.
Is there anyone else in the same boat?
  • Hi buckrogers
I managed to get Skegness Butlins for 4 nights Monday to Friday 26 - 30 May. I did book online, though on the first Thursday morning that you could log on.
    Hope you get sorted. :j

I haven't had my confirmation either. I booked on the first day and they took my money pretty much straight away and had email saying I should hear by 1st March so am planning to ring up tomorrow. Has anyon else rung the sun hotline yet?

I'm still waiting to hear too - They cashed my cheque ages ago, but I don't know where or when we are going??? Do you have the hotline No please? I really need to book the time off work, as there is a queue of people all waiting to know when they can have their holiday, but they can't book any time off until I've booked mine (if you see what I mean? - nice though, that they all have to wait for me! ha ha). Thanks in advance.
