I'm a Sun-Holidays-Newbie and just have a few questions. I sent away the tokens etc, when I hear back from them will they have chosen a place and date for me (from the options I gave) and booked it or will they ask me to confirm that this is suitable first before booking it? Also, I plan to bring my own linen, does this mean quilts and pillows too or is it just the sheets and covers?

no they will only send you one dated and place you wont have a choice you just have to accept the one they send however when we went last year i stayed at a john fowlers site and they did say that i could change the place if i wanted. also no with bring your own bedding my experience is that you have to take sheets aswell.

sorry and pillows and duvet but sometimes it is easier to take sleeping bags

pillows and duvets are provided for you. all you need are pillow cases, sheets and duvet cover . hope that helps you and good luck getting one of your choices of park and date.

Hi is that the same for Butlins Bognor does anybody know? My friend has been on loads of Haven holidays in different places & said that the linen was always provided. This is my 1st Sun Butlin holiday & it looks like we have to go on the train now. I wont be able to take duvets with me Im hoping I can hire them.

Had to say, I booked last year and had to cancell 3 months before we went.
They refused to refund my entertainment pass or linen fees even thought they couldn't explain why.
They actually agreed with my logic that as i wasn't coming and wouldn't be using the linen they would not incur any fees (placing linen in the van, washing etc) and still refused to refund.
I did expect to loose my £9.50's but couldn't beleive they wouldn't refund linen fees.

No I'm still waiting too. Anyone else? I've never booked before and I chose sites that weren't available for priorty online bookings and did it first day possible so was hoping to have heard something by now

Usual average is 4 - 6 weeks I've found from past experiences......
