  • Hi everyone

I'm new to The Sun and this cheap holiday deal...collecting all the tokens but now i dont have a clue where to use them for.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't really want to end up in a grubby hi-de-hi kind of place through my own amatuerness! It'll only be my husband and I....we've no kids :( , and would basically just want somewhere clean and modern to chill out for a few days... not bothered about food and entertainment or anything... just bothered about quality of accommodation.

Something within an hour/ 2 hours drive from Manchester would be good.

So whats good, and what's good to avoid?

    Ta x

We went to Marton Mere near Blackpool last June. It's a typical holiday camp, but the caravan we had was fantastic, even had an en suite toilet, the park is laid out well with trees and hedges and it's right on the edge of the Mere if you are into bird watching. And, of course, it's near enough to Blackpool to 'do' if you want, or far enough to ignore if you don't. And it's fine for visiting lots of other places as well.

The entertainment is crap though, so don't bother with entertainment passes.

  • Hi Every one,

Firstly thankyou to every one who posted the codes on this site and gave out very good advice on how to book online.

I have managed to book a 3 night break at devon cliffs(haven) over the Spring B/Holiday(23/5) but would of liked to book the same break for our friends. Has any one got an unused ref No. I can use?

Also has any one been to Devon Cliffs with the sun before
as I would like to Know the grade of Caravan they allocate? So far I have only been with Parkdean to Ruda & warmell with the sun were the Caravan & Lodge have been of a good standard, normally mid range.

    Thanks Again X

We went to Devon Cliffs with the Sun in October, as a group we had 4 caravans between us. Not sure of the official grade, but ours was a 2 bedroom bog standard caravan. Location was fine, be prepared for uphill walks to the main complex! I really liked the site though.
