oh what a shame - i've got butlins in july, it's the day they finish school (18th) so we can't leave until after 3. i had to fiddle about with dates etc. to get offered what i wanted.

i found that putting in all of the butlins, or one with ruda, or use butlins and then butlins catered as a second option, that i got offered minehead eventually. i put 18 july as first choice date, and also may 26th and march 28 because i knew they would be popular, so i would be unlikely to be offered those.

when i just used random dates or parks i was always offered those, even though they were not my first choice - and because i then went on to get offered my first choice i think there's something fishy going on. if butlins minehead was available at 9am why was i only offered my 3rd choice ten minutes beforehand?

about half an hour after i made the booking.

i've made 3 bookings now, and only the final one gave me a confirmation screen - with the other 2 i was just hoping it had worked, and when i tried using the same ref number to try again it said it had already been used, so i took that as confirmation that it had worked the first time, when it crashed.

my booking number was 1600 so it must be working sometimes for some people.

if anybody does have a spare one could you please bear me in mind. i have booked for me, my mum and my sister to go away but mum says my brother really wants to gowith us all too, he has started seeing a single mum with 2 small children and would love to surprise them with a holiday - but he's skint :rolleyes:
