    As @Okell
A complaint at best would get what is best known as a  "go away payment". if you try the sugar approach.
I suppose that's what I'm trying to hint at for the OP.

I think "anywhere" is advertising puff

The OP has learnt from this thread a great deal. They have not realised until now that there could be real issues accessing online services that are typically available from UK from abroad.
Until very recently they have genuinly assumed that it is a rare exception, rather than the rule. Now they understand it is another way round. (One of the most irritating is NHS/hospital/medical practice websites; as their medical practice is moving from phone to online system for scheduling appointments  :s).

The wording isn't restricted to promoting a product as such, but product-related claims.

It still seems to me that FCA, or rather FOS, will be a far more suitable avenue to escalate to with a complaint about claims made by a regulated financial business, rather than going down the ASA route....

Is their tool for making reports but its a one way thing, you won't be told the outcome of their investigation or if the company has been told to make any changes.

Why is the OP replying in the third person, are they using AI to write their posts?

I don't use AI except in rare cases when I need to produce long boring manuscripts for purely bureaucratic reasons. I often write and think in the third person; it helps to distant myself from emotions and focus on facts.

It's a thing people do sometimes.  No harm in it.
