John_Har said:Hi all,
I'm moving in with my partner and will be cancelling my broadband at my address.
How do I use my partner broadband ?
I'm able to use it at moment through wifi, will this change when I cancel MY broadband at my address ?
Thank you in advance x
When you connect to the Internet you are not asked to login so you are not identified so any number of people can use the connection if they have the password for the router

When you set up a broadband contract you are merely renting an access point to the internet. This can be used by anyone who has the password in the same way as you going to a cafe and using their wifi by inputting the password written on the menu. When you go to your partner's you will simply log on to their rented access point in the same way.1

same way as you do now - same way as you might give the password to visitors etc0
