    How did you get this please, and did it cost you anything?
    Would the original owner be able to get it off them for free?

    I tried calling a VW dealership and they gave me the runaround. They eventually asked me to bring my car in for an "assessment" and to cut the long story short, it will cost me a bare minimum of £150 even if they were to eventually tell me that they cannot find/give me the code!

    If there is a particular VW dealership that you have contacted who were helpful in the past, can you please post or DM me their details, so that I can try to contact them?
