Online car radio codes

I've recently had work done on my car. The battery must have been disconnected as the radio is now not working. I don't have the code.
I've done an online search and found out how to find the information I need to get the code. I don't have time to take it in to a dealership. Can anyone recommend an online code seller. I've looked at several and the price varies greatly. I want to avoid getting ripped off.
Thank you

Make, model and serial number of radio.

Quote ALL information on labels case etc.

We can then find the code if it is possible or advise if main dealer or radio specialist is required.

Thanks Trackman. The website advises to check if the radio is actually "fully locked" in which case I need a "Radio Decoding Service"

Is that what this website provides, or is it saying it will not be able to help in that case?

Is it the original radio fitted in the car as they need to comunicate with the cars electronics?

They also need to know if it has been locked by to many attempts of entering code.

This may require a main dealer or sending unit to a decoding specialist for decoding.

This RNS-315 radio came factory-fitted in a VW T5 van. The seller (T5 owner) disconnected it to upgrade it to an Android stereo. He fitted it again in the same van because the Android stereo wasn't right to begin with - but he never got asked for a code when refitting the original RNS-315 stereo in the T5 van. After the Android stereo issues got sorted, he sold the RNS-315 to me.

I want to get my RCD-310 upgraded to this RNS-315 in my MK6 Golf. The seller has checked and he could not find the code anywhere in his car documents. So we don't know for sure if the radio actually needs a code or not.
Is there a chance that some VW radios are not coded at all?

    The "
locked by to many attempts of entering code" can be ruled out because they never got asked for a code.

I have an appointment booked with an auto electrician to get it fitted next week, and in the meantime, I am trying to get everything that I need in place (radio code if needed, also ordered the GPS antenna)

I hope I have explained it fully, but in case you would like me to clarify anything please feel free to ask.

Appreciate your help on this forum
    :)

It should be a plug and play in this case with no code needed.
Just needs the GPS antenna replacing and should be good to go.
