Looking to join Virgin for BB

Moving to a new flat next week. Just wondering whether I could ask Virgin to send the router at my current address instead of new address. Getting conflicting advise as was told the router must be sent to the address where activation will be taking place.

Trying to ask Virgin to do anything out of the norm is going to confuse them, which will most likely lead to issues of some sort.1

You’re very brave going with VM, I’ve had a nightmare trying to unravel an upgrade I did agree to which wasn’t in my interest. Cancelled it the following day during cool off period, to revert to previous package. The emails, bills & adjustments have been bewildering, three phone calls later and we will see what the next bill states. Not sure if other providers are any better tho.

When I was with Plusnet, they could never work out the correct payment, where I recontracted just before the end of my fixed term, so there would be so many days at the old and the new rate. Strangely it worked out dearer than if it had all been at the higher rate. Twice I had to refer on to the head of accounts.0
