No, my husband started noticing the odd mark on his pillow after 2 days of our stay. We thought he’d bleed from a cut on his neck so that’s why we didn’t realise what was happening until half way through the holiday when the marks on the pillows were every morning and fresh!

I hope you were ultra careful on your return and did not bring any back with you as bed bugs can be a nightmare to get rid of from you house. 

we didnt realise we had been bitten until a few days after we came home when all the hives/marks appeared.

It might be worth making sure you're clear on the timelines. It's probably just the way it's been typed but it doesn't seem consistent whether you knew out there or only when you got home

I actually filed our complaint to Jet2 during the holiday before we flee home so they are clear the issue was present during our holiday given we had new mattresses provided 2 days before we flew home. I think it’s just the way I’ve written it on here across the various posts. We had no visible bites during the holiday but I have a camera reel full of photos of the bugs in our room as proof
