Comparison sites not showing all options? What sites will truly give me all options?

My Broadband contract is coming up for expiry and my Sky contract is expired, so I'm doing the checks for the best value TV+Broadband package I can get.

I'm currently on Vodafone for BB with BT and Virgin lines available outside the door (Vodafone installed my current line) - but when I look at some of the usual comparison sites (e.g. Go Compare, Which) I'm not offered Sky or Vodafone - they make it appear they are not available at my postcode. Other sites show them, but the deal prices are all over the place.

Are there any good comparison sites left, or are they getting bought out by certain providers?

Not sure, but when I was looking to change several suppliers were not shown on MSE or Uswitch.  Spent a fair bit of time searching before I got what I was happy with.

Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

Use more than one comparison site. They are tied with commercial agreements.

Or start your own comparison site.

No comparison site is going to show every option possible... they are fairly expensive sites to run so you generally only want to include firms that are going to pay you commissions for the sales you generate for them.

The second problem is that many brands have trademarked their name and/or logo so even if you are willing to include firms that arent going to pay you commission you may find some will still be sending you cease and desist letters and threats of court action.

Back in the day MoneySupermarket used to make a big thing of being the only comparison site with DirectLine included but DL hadn't agreed to be included and at the time felt it went against their fundamental principle of cutting out the middleman so many C&D letters were sent and lawyers instructed over that spat.

Are you currently on full fibre ? Or still on b/band dependent on the old BT copper lines?  Some companies have stopped offering partial fibre/ADSL packages even on telephone exchanges that are not "fibre priority ".if full fibre is also available.
Or it might be that there is no spare capacity in the cabinet for FTTC connections serving your property as there is no automatic right for you to keep your existing port in the cab. when you switch suppliers
