Quidco is uncontactable

I did an insurance comparison with Quidco, but it didn't track, so I tried to contact them to look into it.

You can't submit a claim for Quidco comparisons via their missing cashback form.

Their contact email addresses are not working. I tried privacy@quidco.com, dar@quidco.com, and quidcosupport@quidco.com. All responded with error messages.

The "contact us" link on their website goes to an error page.

It looks like Quidco is having some major problems. Are they solvent? Apparently they don't have anyone working in IT anymore.

  • Did you just do a comparison?

I thought you only got cashback for buying the insurance.

My new car insurance policy money from Quidco has tracked okay.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

I did buy insurance from the comparison.

Wondering if it's worth sending a DSAR by post, or just complain to the ICO.

What's the ICO got to do with it?

They have a legal responsibility to provide working contact details and process DSARs. There is currently a fault with their system that they don't seem to be fixing.

They have, on this page they list their address for you to write to the Data Protection Officer.

Does it actually work? The email addresses and website don't.

Forcing you to write to a website operator would be against the rules anyway. Needlessly difficult and expensive.

Perhaps the more important point here is that the company seems to be defunct. Do they still pay out?

How is writing a letter against 'the rules', difficult and expensive? The Company is not defunct...be very careful what you assert. Yes  I was paid out last month.

I had difficulty with Quidco this Spring after buying a television from Argos and eventually earning .67p cashback.

After much emailing to and from bots before I reached a person, I was told it was because I'm not a new customer of Argos.

I suspect that it would be hard to find any adult in the country who hasn't yet shopped at Argos.

They do show if there is a difference in cashback for existing customers.  Here is the Argos page...

So their website is just broken, but they are solvent you think?

    How do you contact them?
