Bluetooth TV

Moneysaving in as much as I don't want to buy a new TV but no idea where else to ask this question.
Our current TV has Bluetooth in as much as I can play music from my phone through it, but my husband wants to buy some bone conducting headphones to help him listen to the TV without headphones does anyone know if this would work please?

If your TV supports bluetooth headphones output then  the Bluetooth bone connecting ones will work OK.

However be warned most TV's have either TV loudspeaker or headphone output not both at the same time.
I have a Panasonic which does have separate independent sound  but my LG has loudspeaker or headset not both at the same time

If your TV does not do Bluetooth output then you need to buy a bluetooth transmitter from eg Amazon - they are not expensive and they plug into the earphone socket on the TV and transmit and you can connect your headphones to the signal

However be aware that plugging into the earphone socket normally cuts off speakers on the TV in which case you might want to get a bluetooth transmitter which is fed from eg optical or pho o (assuming your TV has it) - that will not cut the sound on the TV

I tried some bone conducting headphones last week - the vibrations on to my head with bass would drive me potty. Try before you buy would be my advice
