CCJ added to my credit report with no contact to me.

I checked my credit report Thursday as I do each month and was shocked to find a CCJ has been claimed against me. I have no idea what it is for and have had no notification or contact of any kind as to what this is about so I have contacted the issuing court about it to ask what for some details on what it is but I was wondering if this is even allowed and if i can do anything to contest it at this point?
The information on my credit report for this has it under my old address from one year ago so I assume that it why I haven't been contacted.
I'm not sure what it is even for, the only thing I can think of is a parking ticket I got a couple years ago from a pub I worked for that I contested at the time of issue under the grounds I work for the company so I am not supposed to have to pay for the car park. I wasn't contacted after that so I assumed everything was settled.
I'd appreciate any advise anyone can give, all I think I know so far is that in the first month I can get it set aside and it will no longer affect my credit score but I only have 6 days before the CCJ is a month old so I'm concered I won't be able to get that sorted in time.

You can get basic details from the CNBC in Northampton by phone on Monday, preferably ringing early morning to avoid another very long wait, they can tell you the claimant details etc, possibly sending you the information, name of the parking company, name of the lawyers etc
If you pay it in full, promptly, it will be expunged , within one month of the actual ccj date
You can get it set aside due to them using an old address but will need to pay £313 to do so, after which the claim is back in play against you at your current address
They should have traced you before issuing a court claim
So details first, preferably on Monday, then decide what to do
Let us know those 2 company names for a start, ( or one if no lawyers were used )3 -
In addition, don't assume that it will definitely cost £313 to set the judgment aside or that you won't be able to win that back from the claimant if you do pay it. See my explanation here:

Okay thank you.Is there any reason for me to get it set aside rather than paying it seeing as it cost more to do so?If it is the parking fine I obviously would rather not have to pay it because to my knowledge I should have been allowed to park there as an employee at the time and there wasn't actually any signage to say about ANPR other than a sign at the back of the car park that I parked and left without being in eyeshot of.I assume it would be difficult to fight it if they are persuing me for it they must think that my reasonings for not paying don't matter so I might end up having to pay it anyway if I get it set aside and then fight it?0

There was no fine, just an invoice from a private parking company
Once you know the details from the claim form, the who and the why, you could fightback, get your money back and end up paying nothing at all, in the end
This sounds like a Parking Eye case if the CCJ is £207 , but you need all the details, as do we, before deciding on a strategy or not
Once you know who the claimant is, you can email a SAR to the DPO there to obtain all your data, including the paperwork etc
You also need to know the date of the judgment, because it seems to me that if its on your credit file, paying it off won't remove it ( past the grace period to pay in order to get it expunged ) So a lot more details are required here
So same advice as in this one

You get the fee paid in the end by the Claimant, for failing to trace you as required. The claim wasn't properly served.

I've just spoken to the court and found out its a Parking Eye fine from a health centre that I had an out of hours appointment at when I had tonsilitus earlier in the year. Looking on maps there is a sign with parking rates I just didn't see it I guess.I have until the 5th of Sep to pay it to get it off my record.0
