I've only ever parked there once. It is the shop front of a Chinese takeaway so no payment machine and no signs as far as I can see - but it was 5 years ago.
There was definitely no pay machine there in 2020 though
Yep but if the timing is "wrong" (as you said) it means you drove in and out twice that day. 'Double dip' sounds likely.

Not that it matters. The claim will be discontinued as long as you follow our advice. Defending is easier than appealing would have been.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi guys
I have received the same letter after 4 years now. I over stayed in car park because I had a sick and very unwell person with me that couldn't drive away. I went through popla but it didnt work. Since Jul 2021 I ignored their letter and I changed my address too. But they have found me and now took me to the court. I have done the aos and I have two weeks to defend. I would appreciate if you could help.
    Many thanks

Start a thread with a photo of the claim form, with the usual 4 things redacted, of course.

You have been advised to start your own thread several times now.  Why are you so reluctant to do so?  We will pick it up, rest assured. Since you have posted your claim form (in someone else's thread): -
With an issue date of 22/10/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 27/10/25 and before 10/11/25 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 24/11/25
If you didn't make the date in bold, you might already have a default judgment against you.  When you have started your new thread, check your status on MCOL and post it in your new thread.

We really really don't need any new threads about Smart Parking claims. Just copy a defence from another Smart claim thread.
