Confused about who to appeal/write too.

Admittedly I missed the original appeal window.

I have dodged every way they have tried to communicate with me up to now, over a year anyway.

It is in Scotland, a car park at a retail park with several retailers.  It came originally from the car park operator, then moved to another mob and now a debt collector linked to the second company.

I feel I might have a case to get it thrown away, who do I write to?

The store
The owners of the park
The park operator
The debt chasers
The debt collectors.

So confused at this point.  And to be honest would just like it to go away as sick of hearing from them.

As above,  ignore the powerless debt collectors letters and parking company

5 years from the incident date is the deadline

That's how they get people to pay. Making you sick of them, or scaring you into caving. How else would they get paid considering they zero powers other than to send letters?

As you are in Scotland, wWhy not carry on ignoring and use your energy more wisely?

All we ask is that posters with DRA threatograms do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital Consultation before the deadline. The new law will change everything in Scotland too, so your voice is important.

    See this thread: -

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-8-weeks-from-11th-july-2025/p1

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance on that thread. I have covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

CLOSES ON FRIDAY. Just days to go.
