Virgin Regular Saver Glitch - one application opened two accounts

I applied for the current issue regular saver online, at the end of that process it said something like "we need to check some details". This morning I had two messages, by email it said ..
"Good news, we have an update on your Regular Saver Exclusive Issue 3 application.
"Good news, we have an update on your Regular Saver Exclusive Issue 3 application.
All you have to do is sign in to your application and we'll give you the news."
And separately by text I got a message saying they'd reached a "decision" and giving a link to login to see the "decision". I can't do that on my phone.
I logged in using the link from the email and it took me to a screen offering to continue the application, at the end of which it said the account was opened.
But somewhere along the line something got screwed up or duplicated, and they've actually opened two accounts with the account numbers just a few counts different.
I assume I won't get away with keeping two, so the question is whether I should use the lower or the higher numbered account.

If you can't fund both due to cash flow, put the minimum balance (probably £1 but check the t and c's) in one of them (and leave alone) and fund the other one on a monthly basis to the maximum allowed. Doesn't matter which account number you use for which. This will leave you with the option of funding the minimum balance one further down the line should cash flow allow it.0 -
Cheers, I'm thinking pop £250 into each just now. That might or might not trigger so something. If I fund just one and pick the "wrong" one it night get closed down the line, and I wouldn't be able to transfer the whole balance to the correct one.

Definitely fund both - there's no way of knowing which is the "correct" one without contacting Virgin which would alert them to the fact you have 2!0

Just as an aside I don't see the point of their "nudge, wink" secretive communications given that once the account's open they send an email saying so.0

I'd be surprised if Virgin notice - their IT is in disarray and I'd be surprised if a member of staff spotted itI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1

Has anyone been able to get hold of one of the mysterious Security Tokens. After the mess about closing the last regular saver, I ordered a security token by sending a secure message and received a reply that it would be despatched within a few days. Nothing arrived.I chased it up by secure message a few days ago and they replied that they wanted my address! I gave them that and pointed out that they already had my registered address!Just received another reply saying "I'm not seeing that the token was previously ordered, despite what you had been told by another advisor. I'm sorry about that. I've ordered it myself and it'll arrive within 5-7 business days from today".Fingers crossed. My wife also ordered a token by secure message. They replied that one could not be ordered by secure message and that she would have to phone them to order one! We'll wait to see if I get mine before attempting to get hers. We've another 11 months before they'll be needed so might get them in time.
