Thanks, I needed a replacement tablet quickly (Kindle fire was a right pain) and have read good reviews of the Lenovo brand from other forums. To be honest it was a toss up between the Samsung A9 and the Lenovo, I think I could have got the Samsung for £99 from their shop but they wouldn't deliver to where I live, and it was more expensive elsewhere.
I have just viewed a youtube video comparing the Redmi to the Lenovo and as you say it does come out well in the review, (with the £40 gift vouches I could have got it for a knockdown price too) I did get a nice Moto type charger and cable with the Lenovo that I usually pay up to £14 so a little bonus there.
Overall I am not as familiar with the Redmi brand, but thats not to say they don't make good products., also I have been getting the Kindle fire for around £50 in sales so anything at a similar price probably makes me a bit wary
Aww well what is done is done now, and thank you for doing a good bit of research for me. Maybe next time around I won't jump to buy as quickly.1 -

Well I do like the Lenovo as well, whereas the Redmi has a more customised OS the Lenovo has not. Will use both, handy having two if one is charging.
I had put up so long with the Kindle fire with all its slowness, so good to have tablets that are faster, thank you once again for your good advice.
I did get the Lenovo for £59 as well as Amazon had given me a £40 gift card as I had applied for their Credit card, so that was a good help.
Just to add I bought two shockproof cases for £8 or so each from Aliexpress, which is a lot cheaper than Ebay, items do come quickly, takes about a week and they really update you with tracking of the item.0
