How did you manage that? I tried to arrange transfer from Virgin to Shawbrook and Virgin wouldn't allow it as it wasn't within 15 days of the end of the ISA0 -
Gobigorgohome said:Thanks everyone. I need to find a new isa. Where best to check for the best rates. There is one with virgin at 4.14% but that allows new money only within 30days. I will be getting a big payout in November so I need isa that will allow me to add money later even if I open it now. I don’t want to leave it in easy access isa they automatically Transferred to because that is only 1.24%
I imagine you'll be looking at the Shawbrook 1 Year ISA paying 4.31% as it's one of few that allows further contributions without being restricted to a small window after opening. It's the second highest rate at the link above (at the time of writing) and you can see the further contributions in the further details section.wmb194 said:
Make sure to change the 'sort' filter to by rate.Gobigorgohome said:Thanks everyone. I need to find a new isa. Where best to check for the best rates. It’s not giving me shawbrook as an option. The top one is showing chip cash isa at 4.6% and then plum. Am I looking at something wrong?Ch1ll1Phlakes said:Gobigorgohome said:Thanks everyone. Sorry my bad. I just saw that I was looking at easy access and not fixed cash ISAs. That’s right shawbrook comes up as the top one that allows transfers and further deposits anytimeGobigorgohome said:

You just tick the box 'wait until maturity' or whatever it says with your new provider. I haven't had any communication from Virgin about the transfer.VXman said:surreysaver said:as I'd already arranged a transfer to another ISA about a month ago.

I also missed the maturity deadline for Virgin's FRISA, but I've just been online and I think the rates still on offer are the same as they would have been if you'd clicked through on their 'Maturity Options' email:
Defined Access Cash E-ISA Variable rate of: 4.06% for the first three withdrawals, followed by a variable rate of 1.25%
or
1 Year Fixed Rate Cash E-ISA Issue Fixed rate of: 4.16%
The only difference is that if you transfer 'late' then the Fixed Rate expiry becomes Sept 2026.
