I'm looking into opening single access cash ISA 4.31% with Harpenden and looking for information/advice on the following:
1. Transfers in (method and speed)
2. Transfers out (any obstacles?)
3. When was the last rate change? (just wandering whether to expect it to decrease very soon or it is likely to stay until next BoE decrease)
Any other feedback is also welcome.
TIA

This was their message re cuts following the August base rate cutThere is no mention of the single access cash ISA there. The page for the cash ISA 2 which is on that list of decreases for example shows the fall from 4th September. But no similar message on the page for the single access cash ISA. Does that mean it's not decreasing? Don't know but possibly. But they also say 'we are letting you know we will be reducing the interest rates on the majority of our variable rate savings accounts' when you click the apply button for the single access so perhaps it will reduce. There is 14 days notice of a decrease.
I came, I saw, I melted1 -

Be aware that banks/building societies savings rates are not just affected by the BoE rate. If for example demand for their mortgages slowed down, they do not need as much money coming in as savings, so less need to have very competitive rates.0 -
Hi, did you open this account in the end? If so how has the transfer in/out process been for you?allegro120 said:I'm looking into opening single access cash ISA 4.31% with Harpenden and looking for information/advice on the following:

No, I didn't go for it. I didn't like the arrangement of how the bonus rate is paid and there were several other ISAs paying a similar rate at the time.macy08 said:
