Rather than have to drop your price could you get your neighhbours to participate in a sponsored silence.

It all depends on how well you get on with them but you could negociate that if they keep the noise down around viewings that they will also benefit from sale

😄I like you optimism.  We don't really get on.  They're out their now playing their roadman "music" and we've had to close all the windows to get some peace.

    I feel for you.

On the buyer side I viewed a property 2 weeks ago and the next door neighbour was out revving his motorbike on their drive then speeding up and down in and out of the cul-de-sac for the latter part of our viewing. No helmet on clearly trying to be as disruptive as possible

Worked. I wouldn't even entertain it knowing I'd have had to live next door that

Yes, they were my first call.  We had to give them first refusal but they said they weren't buying them back now.

I know right?!  When I see a house I'm interested in, after I've checked the room sizes, etc, I go on to Google Street View and maps.  This gives you a good indicator too.  Also StreetCheck  is great for finding out about crime, people, etc.

    You have a problem.
I know someone who offered the sumb@gs next-door £5000 and unlimited Mc Donalds to shut up.
    It worked.

😄 Not sure it'll work on my lot but glad it worked for them 😄

    Did they give a reason?

We're trying to sell our house but the neighbours are always out in their garden shouting at each other.  We had one viewing where the neighbours were effing and jeffing at each other.  The Estate Agents can't get hold of the couple who viewed it (no surprise!).

Our EA said they're surprised the house hasn't sold and suggest we knock £25K off the asking price. If we do this then we can't afford to move as there's nowhere suitable for us in that price range. We're also on a 20 week contract with the EA (I know it's long) and it's only been on for 5 weeks.

Has anyone managed to sell a house with loud neighbours?
Oh dear - I feel your pain !

I live in a nice quiet street where most of my neighbours are great & keep their properties clean and tidy. The street has around 5 HA properties (most tenants are  great). Unfortunately, my neighbour is one of the LA house. The house is  scruffy, dirty & always rubbish outside front/back garden. She also has a ferrell child who is a nightmare. Although the family is not noisy

I put mine up for sale last year & had lots of viewings. Similar houses in neighborhood sold except mine !  I often wonder if it was the neighbours scruffy house  putting them off (although NO viewer mentioned this in feedback to EA).
I took it off the market (personal reasons).

    My advice would be to

1- try talking to your neighbours & politely explain the situation. My guess is they are not even aware what they are doing ?

2- lower the price as suggested

    Good luck and kind regards
