Chetwood Bank via Hargreaves Lansdown

Hi - I was thinking about opening the Chetwood 4.32% 1 year fixed term ISA in case rates fall further. I’d be looking to largely fund via a transfer from another ISA. HL seem to say they accept transfers in via their Stocks and Shares ISA - so fiddly, but fine - although in order to open a Cash ISA (to transfer from S&S) you have to put in £1 of new money so won’t work if this year’s allowance already used. However, now I’m trying to open the Chetwood account within the HL platform and they’re insisting on a £1,000 debit card input before they’ll open the ISA. There also doesn’t seem to be any info in the Summary Box etc about how long the funding window is after opening (or even whether they actually accept transfers in). Has anyone had any experience with funding this ISA? I’m starting to think maybe I’ll go with Vida instead - the 0.01% difference only comes out about £5

The last thing you want with a cash ISA is a company sitting between you and the ISA provider.
Keep things simple - go with Shawbrook at 4.31% or Paragon at 4.28% for a slightly longer period (15 months).
One benefit of Shawbrook fixed rate ISAs is that you can continue to pay into them throughout the duration of the term, which gives you the option of paying into it gradually and also the ability to pay future tax year's ISA allowances into it too, which could be beneficial if rates continue to fall.0
