    You honestly need some patience.
    There is no rush
the court system takes its time
You were right and it finally updated. I've also filed mine now and this time will be patient.

    Thank you

Remember they always say they intend to continue. I don't even think they read the defences. With 1000 coming in a week and considering they intend to discontinue, what's the poiint?

    Hello all,

So I had my mediation call - offered the minimum as i've read on several other posts here, done some back and forth negotiations but essentially nothing came out of it and ParkingEye Ltd will be proceeding with court.

Today I received my court letter with a date of 12th January, only slight issue here is that due to some opportunities I have been offered with work I will be moving abroad on 8th January.

What happens in this case? I really don't want any CCJs or negative marks on my credit report

What can/shall I do from here?

Appreciate any advice on this one. Thanks again in advance.

DCB Legal will discontinue this month, so do not say a word!

Whenever the date is for them to pay the hearing fee, they'll discontinue just before.

    What's that date?

What's your date for WS & evidence?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi Coupon-mad,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have received 'Notice of Allocation to Small Claims Track (Hearing)' with a date for the hearing 12th Jan @2PM.

On the second page of the letter it mentions "Claimant has until 2pm on 15th December to pay to court the Trial fee of £27 or file a completed application" etc..

I have no specific mention on this letter about WS & evidence but I hope the information above helps answer some of your questions.

Thanks again to you and everyone who has helped me up to this point.

"I have no specific mention on this letter about WS & evidence"

Odd. If you are certain, then that info will have been in your earlier Notice of Allocation.

There is a part that mentions 'Case Management' "each party must send to the other and the court office copies of all documents to rely at the hearing."

Its also mentions "Claimant must send the documents so they are received no later that 4pm on 2nd Jan"

Is this the correct information you needed?

I'm happy to scan the letter and upload here if it helps?

That is what we wanted to know,  so that is the WS bundle deadline,  2 weeks after the hearing fee deadline,  and normally 2 weeks before the hearing date

    UPDATE:

    Letter received today.

They have indeed closed the case with no further action. I'll take that as a win. :)

Thanks again to everyone who chipped in here to help me. I appreciate it.
