Install Windows 11, then check and install any updates, check no more available updates afterwards, then take off the bloatware, if you do it too soon an update may reinstall stuff.1

So, when i get to the page where it asks to sign into microsoft, i press shift, Fn and F10 which should bring up cmd then type in %systemroot%\system32\oobe\BypassNROchunter said:%systemroot%\system32\oobe\BypassNRO.cmdor just cd your way to that folder and type BypassNRO.cmdIt'll reboot and give you an option to create a local account and avoid the online rubbish.
Is that correct?

Whether that works or not depends on the version. Newer versions require start ms-chx:localonly. I don't remember the details, but I found the guide on Tom's hardware clear. My clear and yours may differ.Aidanmc said:

I'll try that next time and see if it's any different to oobe\bypassnro which I normally use if I want a computer set up locally rather than joined to a domain1
