What's going on with Octopus statements?

Fourth Anniversary 100 Posts Name Dropper
When I first joined Octopus last year they used to send a single monthly statement covering electricity imports and exports along with gas.

Around three months ago electricity and gas statements started coming separately. This month they've separated exports too so I've had three statements.

It's no big deal but some joined-up account management would be nice!

    I still get one statement covering both gas and electricity.

    Often it’s because they don’t get your full meter readings at billing time, or some data is missing . My export was missing 1 day and I asked them to pull i and got the statement that day.

    Mine was always bang on the same day of the month, every month, one bill to cover both gas and electricity.  Then I added export and it’s been awful ever since.  Not one month where I get a timely single bill.

    I get the impression that their export readings are incredibly flaky.

    It seems to be an inherent problem with Octopus. They sent me apparently random part-month bills for July and they can't explain why. The person I spoke to said she could see they were system generated but couldn't see what the trigger was.

    Similarly, I got a bill every month until I started exporting. I got an export account, a month or so ago, going back to when my export MPAN became active but not a dicky bird on imports over the same period. I'm not too concerned as I can see where I am on my usage page, with a credit building ready for the winter months.

    I'm wondering if submitting a manual reading, for imports, might trigger something.
