hi there I’ve had a look through the forum to see if my question and have been answered, but not being able to find it so kindly asking for help.
I have a court date of October and The court papers I need to submit any copies of documents on which I intend to rely the hearing in two weeks time
1. Do DCB legal typically only drop the claim after this documents submission deadline?
2. if so, what are the type of things that people submit to court to rely on?
Thanks v m

1) they typically discontinue just before the hearing fee is due, extremely common , but depends on the client parking company, which you never revealed
2) a witness statement, exhibits, costs assessment etc ( court and also to dcb legal )1 -
You haven't said which PPC? Excel, VCS and TPS tend to carry on to a hearing.
WS and exhibits are already in the section in the second post of the NEWBIES thread, along with hearing tips.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do DCB legal typically only drop the claim after this documents submission deadline?Too general a question, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. They're issuing thousands of court claims each week. But a general pattern has emerged, that we are tracking. Have a read of this:
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thank you for all the feedback. I was lucky and got an email of discontinuance a week before i needed to submit any docs.
It was UK Parking control for info in case it helps anyone else
Noted re gov consultation - heading cover to do that2 -
Please post a redacted picture of the N279 discontinuation document below, suitably redacted of course
Well done, Another win1 -
Of course - appreciate all the help of the forum here. I would not dodge parking charges but massively opposed to the abuse of the legal system for this parking racket. Its disgraceful and targets law abiding citizens: well worth the paperwork to stand up to these grifters.

Thanks for that NoD evidence and huge thanks for agreeing to do the survey which isn't a simple one. I hope the thread about the questions helps you focus.

Thank you @craftycustomer for the copy of your NoD. I can now get this counted in the DCBL Legal thread of shame. 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
