Barclaycard Travel Credit Card

I applied and received this Travel credit card from Barclays but I found the level of security to register the card for the Barclays App too suffocating and infuriating to complete.

Just too many PIN numbers, memorable data, passcodes and dates. Eventually I gave up and closed my account the day after I received the card. The worst experience I've ever had applying for a credit card.

Never again with Barclays. The potential savings are not worth the frustration in my opinion. I'll go somewhere else.

You may well find others are worse; the direction of travel is one way only and dont recall Barclays being any worse than any of the others.

On iPhone after setting it up, a near once in a lifetime event, its just look at the camera for 9 out of 10 log ins and a 5 digit pin for the 10th

All that stuff (which is really only needed on receipt of the card or when changing phone) can be held in a Password Manager along with any, er, passwords.

I just use my fingerprint.  Have to think about it on the odd (VERY odd) occasion they ask for my 5 digit number.  Easy peasy.

I manage my Barclaycard from the website. I agree, setting up the app is just stupid: even when I took everything into a branch, their staff could not set it up either.

Ditto to the above - I recently opened a Rewards credit card and setting up the app was a challenging exercise.
Much easier to register using my laptop to access the account.
