Thanks for the review link. The link for the Trtl on Amazon was actually for a phone charger plug. I thought £8.99 was amazing value for the travel pillow!
Apologies, I didn't bother looking at individually listed reviews.
Have a look on the At A Glance link.

  • If you can get a TRTL cool neck pillow on ebay, go for it. I'd say they don't suit absolutely everyone, hence some come on ebay. Doesn't really work if you're trying to use earphones at the same time. For me the fleece one was too warm but cool one is great. I left a black one on a plane, so I advise get a colour that you'll see when you're leaving your seat. I bought a new one, though, as I loved it so much. Separate tip, having a photo of your earphones/pillow etc is helpful when you come to the lost property system.

Hadn't thought of Ebay. Could be OK as I believe the "scarf" part is washable. Will have a look.

I used the trtl when it was first launched some years ago.
I LOVE leaning for naps, but honestly I didn't find it that great. It also made my neck very hot due to the fleece fabric.
That is what I am finding ATM, that it's too hot to wrap the scarfy bit around my neck.

Also not very comfy if you wear [a] hearing aid[s] - at least I find I have to prepare to 'lean' onto the aid-less ear, and I'd rather lean the other way.

When I can bear to wear it, I like it, but I can see why it wouldn't suit everyone.

I have defaulted back to the thick foam U-shaped one, with the hole at the back or side of my neck, but too hot for that ATM.

I must look for the cool one, hadn't heard about those.

Signature removed for peace of mind

Thanks. A good point about hearing aids as I wear them. The Trtl's seem very expensive (to me) so I'm less likely to buy one.
