Problem signing up to Currensea

I have been attempting to signup via the currensea app on a samsung android tablet.

When I get to bank linking, I login to my bank, select my account and then get sent back to the currensea app. 

Continue in the app sends me back to santander. I have gone backwards and forwards between the app and logging into santander several times. The app is stuck on bank linking, 

It doesnt seem to be possible to sign up via a laptop.

Is this a common problem?

Do you have both the Currensea and Santander apps loaded on your tablet? 

It's a two-step process, 1 - grant open banking access to your account, and 2 - setup direct debit

Are you able to get through 1?

I dont have the santander app and dont want it. The currensea app opens the tablets browser and I logged in via that. 

Back at the currensea app it looks like it hasnt completed step 1 because it asks me again to select my bank and the process repeats.

Install the Santander app, link the Currensea account, uninstall the Santander app.

ok so I installed the santander app and tried again. Currensea app opens the sant app, I select my current account, it sends me back to the currensea app. As before the currensea app is stuck on the link bank page.

It doesnt work
