Help with an iphone

My brothers got an iphone and hes havin g problems transferring songs he has bought on the net onto his iphone, ive had a look myself and i cant see a way of putting the songs onto the iphone from the pc, can anyone help

Just a quick check you've done the basics. Does he have iTunes running, the song loaded in the library and the iPhone registered to the iTunes on that computer?

The iphone was registered using the computer im using now to type this, itunes is running on the pc but do you need it running on the iphone and the song is in the library

You need to have the following.

iPhone attached to a computer (the one you plan on using it with)
Songs in iTunes library
When iPhone is attached it will appear on the left of iTunes as "iPhone"
Drag and drop songs from your library onto the iPhone
or
Get it to autofill.

There is no other way of getting music onto your iPhone
