Birmingham Airport new 2l liquid limit

Has anyone flown from BHX since they increased the allowance for liquids in hand luggage? Has it caused much longer queues @ Security? We’re flying to Stockholm on Friday. Won’t take advantage of it as we connect @ AMS but would like to be forewarned if likely to be even longer queues.

I'm at Birmingham airport now, security was very quick. The departure lounge is extremely busy so the new limits work really well. Now if only my TUI flight wasn't delayed by an hour... 😒
