Grain broadband opinions

My current situation is I am with Vodafone Cityfibre. My 100mb contract ended in June and as service has been fine, I upgraded to 150mb for less money for two years. Since then service has been intermittent with several hours a day of loss of internet.
I have spoken with Vodafone support and the problem continues. An engineer from Cityfibre was supposed to call on a Thursday pm and Saturday am but failed to show. Apparently this is because if internet is up when due to visit they don't bother. They obviously don't look at logs, just current status.

I am lucky enough to have a choice of four providers - openreach, virgin, Cityfibre and grain.

Grain were offering a good deal in June/July but current offer is more expensive.

Has anyone experience of Grain and opinions.

I do believe that I can leave Vodafone without penalty as they have not kept to their side of the bargain.
