Shortly out of the country for a while so looking for easy transfer of around 21k out of T212 with no hard-copy paperwork.
Decent rate important but top rates not a priority if involves slow manual transfer.
Type of ISA doesn't matter but now leaning towards a 1 or 2 yr fix.
any experiences of transfers out appreciated.
Thanks.

How long are you out of the country? If you're living and working abroad you may no longer qualify for ISAs and HMRC can have them shut down. One of the bits of the small print of your declaration will be:
"I am resident in the United Kingdom (UK) for tax purposes: or if not resident, either perform duties which, as a result of of section 28 of Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act 2003 (Crown employees serving overseas), are treated as being performed in the UK or I am married to, or in a civil partnership with, a person who performs such duties"0 -
