Parking Smart Ticket

Options
Hi everybody,

Could someone help me with this matter please?

I was living in a shared house in 2022 and did not see a letter that arrived in the mail box or left inside the house by any tenant. in June 2025 I've received a remainder (I am unaware of the original claim) from DBCL bailiffs Ltd stating that they wrote to me recently regarding an unpaid parking charge of £170 issued by Smart Parking limited for insufficient paid time.
I ignored this letter and one month later, on 03 july 2025 I've received a letter from DBCL Legal demanding to pay the parking charge and giving me 30 days to pay or respond.

I submitted a Subject Access Request (SAR) to Smart Parking Ltd on 23 July 2025 notifying as well their solicitors, and received a response on 28 July 2025. The SAR disclosed no calibration data, no signage audit, and no payment logs. On 30 July 2025, I submitted a SAR to the DVLA to verify the timeline and legality of data access. About this I notified the Claimant by email that a DVLA SAR had been requested. Today I received a CCJ letter stating that I owe £292 to Smart parking LTD.

Claimant: Smart Parking Ltd
Defendant: F****** T*******
Vehicle Registration: AF5******
PCN Number: TC73159430
Date of Alleged Contravention: 04 December 2022
Date PCN Issued: 09 January 2023

I doubt that you have a CCJ letter

More likely to be an N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL,  in which case post the issue date from the top right of the claim form below and a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

None of the things you listed are your personal data so they wouldn't show up on a SAR.

Just use the Template Defence, top of the forum. They'll discontinue by New Year.

Gr1pr you're right. It is an N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in which they are making me aware of the claimant. Sorry!
    Coupon-mad Thanks a lot!

Was the notice to Keeper out of time ?

Who cares about the dates on their NTK? Smart Parking never used POFA wording then. It's incapable of holding a keeper liable so the POC are untrue in saying they can use the POFA.

We don't need to look and we won't! A child could tell that's non-POFA and I already explained that Smart NEVER used that Act then.

If they know they'll never win a claim how can they make a court claim against me ?

Because 90% of claims aren't defended.
