Party, Party, Party 🥂
We were invited to a party at a neighbour's last night. There was delicious food and drink and we caught up with lots of people we haven't seen for some time. We took a bottle of red and a bottle of white from stores plus a new flavour of gin I made this year - cherry! The orchard we planted in 2020 is properly bearing fruit this year and we harvested cherries for the first time - lots of them 🍒😁 So I thought it would be rude not to try them in some gin 😂
Mr F went out to a social group meeting during the day (I'm trying to encourage him to make new friends 😂). I enjoyed some peace and quiet at home (we've had workmen here all week) and did some number crunching and other chores. Mr F ate out (costs to be met from his personal spends) and I had a sandwich lunch.
So that was my first day of re-focussing on saving and spending. A good 'Happy Days' return on spending and I already feel a little more in control 😁
