Refund on airport duty tax from travel agent

Does anyone know how to get the refund from the travel agent on the airport duty tax. Travel agent did not pass to airline so nothing to do with BA, but won’t answer my 35+ emails to them. So in essence they are fraudulently  keeping this tax for 6 adults. Thanks for reading

What sort of travel agent are you referring to, i.e. a local high street one, a reputable UK name, or some dodgy overseas online bucket shop?  The Ts & Cs should clarify the process, but ultimately if they're not complying then you may need to resort to court action, in whichever country they're based - I doubt that you'd qualify for any assistance from any card company you may have paid with.

so you booked with a travel agent and they charged you £x for a holiday / flights and £y for airport tax.

You got to the airport and found the £y tax had not been paid so you had to pay it yourself?

Now they won't refund it to you?

How much are we talking - sounds like Letter before Action and then Money Claim Online.

Are they part of ABTA?
