Its 33 days from the issue date,  28 days from the service date ( which is 5 days after the issue date   )

In your case the bank Holiday extended it further 

Ps, you dont "send" anything,  you copy and paste your defence into the defence box on MCOL,  save it , and submit it 

No sending,  no email,  no royal snail mail either

This is amusing (in a not very sort of way).

One of the tricks the parking scammers use is to time multiple visits from the first entry to a car park to the last time of leaving to thereby maximise an extended length of stay (eg. if someone went at 10 am and then again at 6 pm).
And here we have one trying to claim for two short visits which added up to less than the allowed time anyway.

Here are my points for my defence: I will submit it tonight on the portal. Any advice is much appreciated

(a) The driver of the Defendant's vehicle parked the vehicle on the premises to legitimately visit the shops. They left well within the permitted 90 minutes. The vehicle’s total stay within the site was less than 90 minutes, which is expressly permitted free of charge under the advertised terms and conditions of the car park.

(b) The Claimant has provided no evidence that the same driver was responsible for both entries. The Defendant cannot be held liable for the actions of an unidentified driver. The Claimant has failed to meet the strict requirements of Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 to transfer liability from driver to keeper. 

(c) It is submitted that the Claimant's alleged contractual breach of "no return within (no period specified in the inadequate particulars)" is voided through doctrine of impracticability. Leaving an item and returning to retrieve it is hardly an unusual act, and it is not uncommon for parking companies to attempt to profit from such mundane occurrences as returning to a shop because the purchase of a bottle of milk has been forgotten. The purpose of the Claimant's condition is to prevent people attempting to double their allotted parking time by leaving and returning, not for circumstances such as occurred, so there is clearly no legitimate interest in place.

Did you put that WITHIN the 10 paragraph template defence? Or did you only put that short wording in?
