LHV Bank app confusion

I went to 1 Year fixed and picked the first one LHV. On my computer this is. I went to their website and I am told that I have to get their app using google play. I am fearful of these things as you don’t know what you might install.
I installed the second as it had the same logo but was suspicious as it appears as LHV AS LHV Pank. There were no others.
I click on the link at the bottom to open a new account.
It says I need an ID or passport issued in Estonia.
Why should we (Removed by Forum Team)
be forced to use apps.

The links all look ok. It’s easily done to pick the wrong app in the app stores, but I usually follow the links from the providers websites and check the details before I install them. This is the app the link to the Google play store takes you too from the LHV site, after following the link from MFCSome banks are app only, and that’s their choice I guess. You also have a choice to not go for a bank who only offer an app, which if you’d rather not would be understandable0

No one's being forced?
I took a look at LHVs website and it's terrible, with poor links into the various app stores pages. The link I managed to get working into the app store seems to have landed on a different app than the one you found.

Not really a scam, but I'd be hesitant at using a bank whose website and app links weren't up to scratch. I like my banks to have good attention to detail.0

You've downloaded the wrong app.
If you click through to LVH on moneyfacts, and then click on any of their 'get the app' buttons it takes to a different app.
It's not their fault you've mixed up apps on the app store.
I think it's outrageous to imply you've been scammed, or to suggest moneyfacts is complicit in it.Know what you don't5 -
LHV is an international banking organisation. You chose the app from their Estonian arm rather than the UK arm you were clearly linked to, no scam involved.2

When I click on the Google Play store icon on the LHV Bank website it takes me to an app for LHV Bank Limited, which is the app for its British entity.1 -
Thats just it. There is no link to theire app only to google play and you have to dig through them to find what YOU BELEIVE is the right one.
Also there is no contact phone number and no one to talk to. Not happy with this been a "trust me" automated bank account.

On my iPad clicking the App Store link takes me to the correct app as well:
