Is anyone aware of any initiatives or plans that offer free or very cheap internet for pensioners?
Thinking my 75 year old Dad would like a smart TV that offers ITVX and BBC iplayer.
He's not on pension credit but gets housing benefit, he's under Birmingham City Council.

Discounted 'social tariffs' for those on certain benefits
Unlikely free but maybe able to get cheaper broadband1 -
He doesn't need to change his TV if it's fairly new, he can access both via a firestickThrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
