Seems like they have moved into the van selling area now. Brought home another transit this afternoon and someone has just arrived and taken it for a test drive.
It begs the question why is he getting vehicle's delivered or driven to his abode and then people/buyers coming to that place to test drive and or buy these vehicles.
He has to be keeping them somewhere because once he sells one another one appears. Take last night as an example. Van sold and within 20 mins mini has arrived. People viewed it around 9.25am today and went off in it around 10am.
I have searched Facebook, Gumtree, Autotrader and even Ebay but can't find any of the vehicles that have passed through here in the last 12 days. I don't know where else to look. The couple today were slightly older so they must have found it easily enough.

Is he getting hold of vehicles from a garage that takes them in as part exchange when people buy a new vehicle? Hence arriving on a low loader. They get sold from his drive as a much cherished well looked after vehicle from a private seller, rather than a traded in uncertain history vehicle bought at auction. Or maybe he's buying them at auction.

Is it always the same low loader? Could you follow it back to where its come from when it leaves?

I'd report the dodgy van with no insurance. Has it been SORN'd?
I have no idea how he is getting them but the are appearing faster than anything, One out last night and within 20 mins another appeared to be sold this morning. I am expecting another before the end of the day. He is at work so it will be this afternoon. She sells them and he brings them. Now someone else has appeared at the house and must also be living there. When l saw them all outside after they drove the van in they didn't make me feel comfortable and l don't think they are nice people - l just get that feeling.
The loader has only been once dropping off so can't say and it was dark, parked on the street so my CCTV couldn't pick it up.
I did check the vehicle that was sold today and know where it was registered and it is the other side of the country so getting them from far and wide. I think this was SORN'd but the people took it for a test drive and happily drove off in it when they handed over their money. I think she most have it paid direct to their bank because she has her phone and is checking it constantly l guess waiting for the payment. This morning looked like cash and phone payment - she took something and sat in the passenger seat, away from me and was ages then came out and checked her phone and a few minutes they were all smiles and shook hands and the woman buying the car hugged her like they were great friends and off the drove.

    It does, indeed.
It could be he has a separate compound where he keeps these vehicles, and doesn't want potential buyers to know about it - he's keeping it looking as 'non' trade.
Kit, any luck with finding adverts for these vehicles? Surely he uses an established site such as eBay, Autotrader, Gumtree, Marketplace? If so, if should be easy to find - you know the exact models he is selling.

I have searched all of those sites and can not find them. I looked this morning for the car in the drive using the reg, colour, make and nothing.
The couple this morning were older so they must know something l don't.
Autotrader, Gumtree, Ebay, Facebook nothing is coming up. Is Marketplace the same as Facebook? I did a 30 mile radius - do l need to do a wider one.
I will need to wait until this afternoon to find out what today's car will be or could that be van now that they seem to be selling both.
There is now a 3rd person in the house, no idea when he arrived but when they all stand together they don't give off a good impression.
We live on main road so lots of passing traffic so the neighbours might not notice, Although last night they parked across the road, blocking it when they came to look at the van and having a loader/trailer made it more difficult for the traffic to pass and the person opposite was home with their lights on and curtains open so they must have seen the van being driven out of the drive and loaded. It was there almost an hour.
How do they get round the logbook? The car still looked like it was in it's original area when l checked to see if it was taxed. I thought the registered keeper had to be changed straight away but again what do l know.

Contact your local council and/or Citizens Advice.  CA is the route to Trading Standards who may well be interested if a trader is trying to pass themselves off as a private seller.

Is he parking any of the vehicles on the road?

Leaving two or more vehicles on the road for the purposes of selling them is an offence under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act apparently.

Sadly, not. Guess he knows how to get away with it. But they move the cars/vans several times a day/evening when they bring another home and then again just before buyer is due., sometimes onto the road. But not for very long. They don't have enough room down the side of their house for the van so it is parked between his wall and my fence right up to his door, so he can get out onto my drive. Even if my car is there it makes no difference he just seems able to squeeze out.

You say he goes off to work - do you know what he does?
It might be he has a contact/friend/relative who owns a garage that sells second-hand cars 'legitimately'. But for harder-to-shift vehicles, or just a faster turnover, if they can sell them 'privately' - without the warranty and comeback - they can knock a bit off the price. So the 'garage' is the initial selling contact.

No l believe he is a jobbing builder but then again who knows. Only know this because he was telling a builder who was there a few days after they moved in that he was a builder and could do the chipping out for new wiring to keep the cost down - we were just getting out of our car so wasn't being nosey and he talks loud so you couldn't not hear if you wanted to.  He is home anytime from 2pm onwards so not a full day and she goes off at the same time as him OH is usually just driving out so can't not see them but she seems to be home more days than she is at work.

Forgot to say if the garage can't sell them it seems strange they can see them every day.
