Is it worth going back to Sky Q?

I only really watch Premiership and EFL football and England cricket tests. I am tempted to go back to Sky as I would like to be able to record it again and miss live pause.
I currently pay £26 to Now TV plus £2 for the HD to watch sport.
I assume the £35 Sky deal for Essential and Sport is as cheap as they will offer or should I haggle?
Also, do you know if this includes HD and would the delay be less on sport as there seems a big delay on Now TV.
Thanks for any advice

Any streaming platform which includes Now will have a delay on transmission from the likes of a linear broadcast. Same for YouTube.A linear channel delay is typically 8-12 seconds, but isn't subject to internet traffic congestion. That being said the £35 I can see on Sky's website is a Sky Stream product, not Sky Q. The closest Q equivalent is £51 a mont.1

Is it worth the difference price? Plus with Now you can install it on different players in your home and play it on any of them (albeit only one at a time unless you pay extra). With Sky themselves you have to pay the multi-room rip-off.1

As you say if I add HD to the cheapest Sky Q basic + sport package it would be £58 which is way too much as I would only watch sports. The better option seems to be stay with Now Sports at £26 pm and to subscribe to TNT for two months when the Ashes are on through Discovery+1
