you normally have to ring them up - how long into the contract are you? There could be exit charges to pay.

Yeah you have to ring up and actually speak to someone, and then get guilt tripped and offered reasons to stay.

Of course that's 31 days notice presuming they're not in a minimum term contract. You can give them more than 31 days BTW, you can ask them to set you up to cancel on the end date of your contract at any time.
