Cahoot Online Banking Login Issues – Anyone Else Affected Today?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with Cahoot online banking today?

I’ve been trying to log in via multiple platforms—Chrome, Edge, and my Android phone—but after entering my details and the text code, I keep getting redirected back to the login page. It’s a loop with no error message, just no access.

I’ve tried calling Cahoot and stayed on the line for over 15 minutes, but couldn’t get through to anyone.

A couple of questions for the community:

  1. Are you aware of any current outages or login issues with Cahoot?

  2. Is there any way to access Cahoot accounts via Santander’s online banking platform? I’m logged into Santander but can’t see any obvious link or integration.

Would appreciate any insights or updates—especially if someone’s managed to get through to support or found a workaround.

  • Not me personally but a few messages on the forum seem to suggest login issues. Downdetector also indicates there could be login problems.

    I just tried a couple of times 12:25pm Saturday 2nd Aug and yes they seem to still be having issues, once I enter the code they send to my phone it loops back to the first login page

    Same problem here, I thought it was because I've changed phones recently but no, it still doesn't work on my old phone.
    I've had around 4 OTP send via text, it just doesn't work.
    Pity I wanted to check up on things and open a new saver (joint) I'll have to wait until it's resolved.

    Not working for me at 1325 hours. Enter OTP and then slips back to login page. Tried several times.

    I just logged in, no problem.
    Same, logged in fine at 2.52pm and moved some money between Cahoot accounts, fingers crossed it is fixed
  • I phoned them midmorning and got through after a very long wait.  I was told it seems to be affecting customers of BT and EE.  I'm with BT.  I managed to login by using my mobile data instead.  Hope this might help if it hasn't been resolved yet.

    I managed to log in to Cahoot at 1930 hours, having tried several times unsuccessfully around 1330 hours. BT customer. Hopefully the problem has been resolved.

    Hopefully MSE will investigate whether we’re due compensation after their online banking outage. I’m not even a BT client, so it’s frustrating to see this level of disruption without any clarity on redress.
