Further information will now be sought from the company from which you hired the vehicle.

    Oh-oh! Alarm bells!

Warn the owner/hire company NOT TO PAY as you have appealed it.

A parking operator cannot revert to the company if that company transferred liability by giving your name and address. Did they do that already?

oh my, im not sure, im speaking to the owner to get this PCN cancelled pending confirmation but there is one more PCN that i never received and only have a Debt Collection notice for it.

Not sure what to do with that missing one.

All the notices I received were Notice to Hirer (NTH), which means the issuing agency wouldn’t have had access to my address unless it was provided by the hire company.

Should I follow up with the hire company to confirm how my details were shared?

This latest PCN response seems different from their previous appeal responses—I suspect they may have considered the points raised in my POPLA submission before replying to this one.

No need to contact the hire company, they will have provided your details in order to discharge their liability.
Hopefully they also provided the documents required by Paragraphs 13 and 14 of the POFA - hire document and waiver signed by the hirer.  These documents should accompany the Notice to Hirer.  None of the parking companies ever do this so they cannot hold the hirer liable or go back to the hire company.

Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

If you had NTHs (after being named as hirer) then CUP are NOT ALLOWED to revert to the keeper.

Tell them to stop or you will report them to the BPA and if they extract money from the keeper after hirer details were known, if this causes you loss you will sue them.

what do I do about the PCN I never received in the post? I got debt collection letters regarding this PCN.

Owner cant ask for the PCN to be cancelled without the PCN Letter.

Just received the email below, after they stated they would be putting my case on hold, im not sure what this means, nothing has been taken from my account as of yet and i havent paid any of these PCNs, the email was sent tonight:

Re: Parking Charge Notice Number xxxx (Vehicle: xxxxx)
Site: Cakes and Bakes, r/o 59 High st Barkingside
    Issue date: 26/08/2025
Contravention: Unauthorised parking not on the whitelist

Thank you for your correspondence. Payment has been received for the above-detailed PCN therefore the case
    is now closed.

Also I have been speaking to the shop owner who has agreed to send an email to CUP Enforcement to waive charges for the 2 remaining PCNs, including the one CUP Enforcement claim to have received payment for.

    Odd!

Are you certain it hasn't been paid behind your back by a 'helpful' partner, family member or housemate who thinks paying a scam is how to deal with these?
