Lloyds bank reporting my account (after 27 years)

I received an alert yesterday from ClearScore relating to my Equifax credit report. The email was to inform me a credit agreement was being added to my report.
Having panicked, i logged in, and it looks like my Lloyds current account is being added to my credit file. What i can't figure out is why its being added now (i have had the current account for over 27 years)?
I then logged into CreditKarma (Transunion) and the Lloyds account already appears there. Having clicked a few tabs it looks like it must have been recently added (even though i have never ever received an alert). The reason i say it must have been recently added is when you look at the "payment History" section there is a green tick next to June 2025 (and no other previous history). So i figure its just been added in the last few days/weeks
I then downloaded the Experian App and Lloyds is listed there, however i don't seem to be able to see when it was added (so have requested a "free" copy of my credit file.
Anyone else had a recent notification regarding their Lloyds accounts being added to their credit files when previously they haven't been reported?

I wonder if this is part of the updating they (Lloyds & Halifax) have been doing recently. If you have a credit card with them have you seen what they have done to the listing of the charges. It is now about 5 times as long because they have put logos for each transaction. As if I am gong to struggle to read Tesco. I do hope these aren't going to be on the final bill or it is going to be pages of the stuff!1

Bank of Scotland current account details and two B of S credit card accounts which I’ve had since 1993 have just started appearing on my credit files.1

My Barclays account of 50+ years has started appearing on my Equifax credit report but my recent Vodafone contract has been removed.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein1

Thankyou for posting, in someway it reassuring to know its not just me (In other ways its unnerving when you see "ALERT" email messages).

What's changed to make this happen? When I opened my account credit files did not exist. I remember a couple of financial institutions that would not recognise my account when I tried to use it. Now I know why. Have banks sneakily updated their terms to allow this now?Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein0

Probably contained in the T&Cs updates they have been sending out, you know, the thing that no one reads.1

Your account probably pre-dates when CRAs existed, or at least before is was normal for everything to be reported to them.
Lloyds must have changed something in their T&Cs recently to allow them to report long standing accounts where customers wouldn't have agreed to the sharing of information when they originally opened the accountI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1
