I have mentioned the 4 areas of law I would be relying on earlier. All drafted by AI. You would be shocked what AI can doOkell said:
I'm also concerned that the OP is confusing a LBA with the actual issue of a claim or the court case itself. They seem to think all they need to do is to send a LBA and the dealer will cough up £16, 000 - or something
When it says 'our client', who is the 'our'? I thought your solicitors aren't involved in this?
If I received something like this I would file it straight into the bin.2 -
I have mentioned the 4 areas of law I would be relying on earlier. All drafted by AI. You would be shocked what AI can do1 . Our client is seeking a full refund for wilful & intentional misrepresentation of a (PCP) contract, in which deliberate false promises of "paradise & heavenly bliss" and a future promise of a brand new car, "AS A BAIT" were made by your MD, "and not a sales rep" who tricked and mislead our client into signing a 3-year contract on a different vehicle ( a used one). A clear breach of an FCA regulated contract.
The investigation email dated XXXX is grossly inadequate. It is "packed full of blatant lies and cover-ups," ignoring corporate legally binding evidence, and fails to address our client's grievances substantively
Our client is seeking to have the outcome, lodged as a formal complaint to the parent HQ and all governing and regulatory bodies. As though earlier denied. Both FCA & Trading standards as of 5/8/25 have re-opened fresh investigations
• Immediate full refund of all sums paid by our client, including finance charges and any associated fees. • A copy of all internal communications and documents relating to the misleading representations made. • Confirmation that your response will be forwarded as a formal complaint to HQ. FCA. Trading Standards. and all other relevant regulatory bodies. • Assurance that no further harassment, intimidation, or bullying of our client will occur—any such behaviour will be reported and not tolerated.

Nothing in that draft suggests to me someone who is likely to launch a successful, or even comprehensible, court action.4 -

Even if I dont get any refund out of it, I plan to ask the courts to let me publish the findings publicly against them.
Prior to approaching them, I had a 8 year old honda which was problematic, so when they promised me 10 year or 100k warranty and heaven and bliss, I sold my honda and jump on board, now they are denying they ever talked to me and denying emails, company letterheads, quotations etc
I find the level of dishonesty COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE
Sorry but if that is your LBA, all it is going to do is give them a good laugh.Life in the slow lane1 -

What I don't understand is that the OP seems more concerned "... that the BAD ILL PRACTICE be reported to their HQ and put an end to it all..." rather than trying to put together a coherent case or argument for misrepresentation.
It's also not clear to me:
1. what the OP means by "their HQ";
2. whether the OP understands that there will be a complete separation between the "giant motor manufacturer" and the franchised dealer they bought from; and
3. that the OP has any clue at all as to what they are trying to do.
