I need to solicitor to serve a LBA ( Letter Before Action )

Where are the quotations from? They don't make the LBA look particularly sensible or professional. Are they something said to you, or has the LLM used language from your prompts? More generally, very poorly written and is all over the place - in other words, I can believe that AI wrote it.Ehi said:

I have mentioned the 4 areas of law I would be relying on earlier. All drafted by AI. You would be shocked what AI can do
you never know, that would be a nice days wageOkell said:
I'm also concerned that the OP is confusing a LBA with the actual issue of a claim or the court case itself. They seem to think all they need to do is to send a LBA and the dealer will cough up £16, 000 - or something

When it says 'our client', who is the 'our'? I thought your solicitors aren't involved in this?
If I received something like this I would file it straight into the bin.2 -
And it appears that you'd be shocked by what it can't do! A quick skim of that poorly-structured and badly-punctuated document shows a similar lack of focus and attention to detail to what you've shared on here, so if you're under the impression that AI has transformed your story into a cohesive and compelling legal case then prepare to be disappointed....
I have mentioned the 4 areas of law I would be relying on earlier. All drafted by AI. You would be shocked what AI can do1 . Our client is seeking a full refund for wilful & intentional misrepresentation of a (PCP) contract, in which deliberate false promises of "paradise & heavenly bliss" and a future promise of a brand new car, "AS A BAIT" were made by your MD, "and not a sales rep" who tricked and mislead our client into signing a 3-year contract on a different vehicle ( a used one). A clear breach of an FCA regulated contract.
The investigation email dated XXXX is grossly inadequate. It is "packed full of blatant lies and cover-ups," ignoring corporate legally binding evidence, and fails to address our client's grievances substantively
Our client is seeking to have the outcome, lodged as a formal complaint to the parent HQ and all governing and regulatory bodies. As though earlier denied. Both FCA & Trading standards as of 5/8/25 have re-opened fresh investigations
• Immediate full refund of all sums paid by our client, including finance charges and any associated fees. • A copy of all internal communications and documents relating to the misleading representations made. • Confirmation that your response will be forwarded as a formal complaint to HQ. FCA. Trading Standards. and all other relevant regulatory bodies. • Assurance that no further harassment, intimidation, or bullying of our client will occur—any such behaviour will be reported and not tolerated.

I'm not particularly shocked at the complete guff it can produce, given there have already been well-publicised cases of it producing fictional case-law.Ehi said:

Nothing in that draft suggests to me someone who is likely to launch a successful, or even comprehensible, court action.4 -
Yes, I bet the individuals who used AI in a Tax Tribunal case were shocked to discover it had created 2 fictional 'case law' cases that supported the basis of their appeal.Ehi said:

Suffice to say the judge was not amused.0 -
Came to this late...is it some sort of wind-up?1

Unfortunately I suspect not, although I would dearly love to see the 'evidence' of this quote:Renfrewman said:Came to this late...is it some sort of wind-up?...a (PCP) contract, in which deliberate false promises of "paradise & heavenly bliss"...2 -
Who is this brand & who is the company you used?Ehi said:
Moral of the story, dont use the name of a global billion dollar brand to lie to hard working individuals. If it were the reverse, and I missed a direct debit by £1 and was returned. It would be registered against me for probably 6 yearseskbanker said:It sounds plausible that you could make a case for suffering some financial loss, but that wouldn't be a simplistic "I paid £x for a car I didn't want, therefore I'm claiming that amount", as you presumably still have the car?
Even if I dont get any refund out of it, I plan to ask the courts to let me publish the findings publicly against them.
Prior to approaching them, I had a 8 year old honda which was problematic, so when they promised me 10 year or 100k warranty and heaven and bliss, I sold my honda and jump on board, now they are denying they ever talked to me and denying emails, company letterheads, quotations etc
I find the level of dishonesty COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE
Sorry but if that is your LBA, all it is going to do is give them a good laugh.Life in the slow lane1 -

Sorry, but that LBA is truly awful. They will 100% know that has not come from any legal firm. It's full of waffle, unfounded accusations and demands that have nothing to do with any court.Ehi said:

What I don't understand is that the OP seems more concerned "... that the BAD ILL PRACTICE be reported to their HQ and put an end to it all..." rather than trying to put together a coherent case or argument for misrepresentation.
It's also not clear to me:
1. what the OP means by "their HQ";
2. whether the OP understands that there will be a complete separation between the "giant motor manufacturer" and the franchised dealer they bought from; and
3. that the OP has any clue at all as to what they are trying to do.
